IIS Korosh, IIS Daryush, IIS Ardeshir, and IIS Nader
were to form the IINs fist DDG squadron.
The contract was cancelled due to 1979 revolution.
These ships were in the US Navy service until 1999 as:
USS KIDD DDG-993, USS CALLAGHAN DDG-994
USS SCOTT DDG-995, USS CHANDLER DDG-996
